IN-PERSON AND VIRTUAL THERAPY IN CHATTANOOGA, TN

“Why do I always feel like I’m
too much & not enough?”

If you’ve been sitting with something like this, you’re in the right place.

“Why do I always feel like I’m
too much & not enough?”

What Therapy Looks Like

Therapy with me is a place to slow things down and figure out what’s actually going on underneath the patterns you feel stuck in. We’re not just managing symptoms—we’re getting curious about them. I’ll often ask questions like: what need was this trying to meet? what was happening right before that reaction? why this pattern, and why now? Whether it’s snapping at your partner, overextending yourself, or going in circles in your own head, we start to make sense of it instead of judging it.

I believe our thoughts, emotions, and body sensations are all forms of communication. Therapy helps you learn how to interpret those signals—and decide how you want to respond, rather than reacting on autopilot.

Sessions aren’t scripted. Some days you’ll come in overwhelmed and we’ll ground things. Other days we’ll connect dots and you’ll have a moment where something finally makes sense. My role is to help you get out of the loop you’ve been stuck in and into something that actually feels like movement.

My Approach

My approach is both warm and direct. I’m not just here to listen and nod—I’m here to help you understand yourself more clearly. I will name what I see, ask questions that go deeper than the surface, and stay with you in the hard moments—the grief, the confusion, the anger, the parts that don’t quite make sense yet.

I tend to work from a cognitive foundation (often drawing from CBT), while also integrating approaches like DBT, attachment theory, and somatic awareness. In practice, that means we’re not just working with your thoughts—we’re paying attention to patterns, relationships, and what your body is telling you, too. The goal isn’t to fit you into a model, but to use the right lens at the right time so something actually lands.

A lot of what we do is connecting dots—understanding where patterns come from, what they’ve been doing for you, and why they’re still showing up now. I sometimes think of it like throwing darts at a dartboard—we’re testing, noticing, adjusting—until we hit something that feels true. And when you’re circling the same thing without getting anywhere, I’ll help you find what’s actually there instead of staying on the surface.

Over time, this work helps you build clarity, self-trust, and the ability to respond to yourself and your life in a way that feels more aligned—not just automatic.
